New for 2026 and beyond, the Flying Gators Club in Archer, FL (near Gainesville) welcomes all pattern fliers from near and far to its newest event, Archer in the Spring.

Complementing the annual Archer Fall contest—traditionally serving as either the season opener or season closer depending on the year—this new spring contest was carefully scheduled to take advantage of the historically beautiful spring weather that North Florida often enjoys.

The Flying Gators field is home to some of the most active precision aerobatic pilots in the Southeast. The site is purpose-built for contest flying, featuring a newly painted paved runway, multiple covered areas, on-site power for charging, running water, built in scoring architecture, and Wifi.

All levels of pilots are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Dry camping is permitted.
